Daniel Mendes
Raised in a small farming community in California’s San Joaquin Valley, I developed a strong work ethic early, working long hours in agriculture. After earning a BSC in Finance from Santa Clara University, including a year abroad at Loyola University of Chicago Rome Center, I spent 10 years in transportation management before transitioning to the drywall industry in 1986. My full-time drywall career began in 1996 when I became 50% owner and vice-president of Redhawk Construction, eventually becoming 99% owner in 2017. With approximately 45 employees and 450 jobs annually, I am proud of the company’s growth and emphasize leadership, quality, and customer service in all we do.
Brandon Kroh
Born in Bismarck, North Dakota, and raised in Covington, WA, Brandon’s appreciation for craftsmanship began early, restoring his childhood home and vintage cars with his father. He entered construction before even earning his driver’s license, progressing from laborer to Crew Lead by 2006. In 2008, as Superintendent at Powell Custom Homes, he led award-winning projects known for quality and innovation. After co-founding and selling a successful remodeling company, Brandon joined Redhawk Construction as a project manager in 2017. His leadership, passion for exceeding expectations, and drive to explore innovative practices make him an invaluable part of the team.
Yony "Johnny" Rosales
Born in Mexico and raised in northern California, I grew up immersed in the drywall industry alongside my father and brothers. After moving to Washington at age 12, I began my career as a drywall hanger and metal framer at 18. By 21, I became a field superintendent, gaining experience managing diverse projects and tackling challenges that make this industry exciting. I joined Redhawk Construction as a journeyman drywall hanger in 2017, quickly advanced to field superintendent, and now serve as a project manager. I’m passionate about delivering exceptional results, fostering collaboration, and building trust with every project.
Ussiel Guajardo
Ussiel began his painting career in 2000, honing his skills on new construction, custom homes, and repaints. After running his own company, Satin Finishes Painting, he joined Redhawk Construction in 2010 to launch and build their painting division. Under his leadership, the division has grown to 15 painters specializing in interiors, exteriors, trim, and cabinets, ranging from basic projects to high-end custom work. Ussiel’s dedication, professionalism, and exceptional skill have established Redhawk’s painting division as one of the best in the Puget Sound area.
